It has been at least 10 years since I attended my last lighted parade in Goliad and what better reason to attend than watch my mother participate in her very own float! We braved the weather to witness mom representing the Daughters of the Republic of Texas in period garb and, because I love her so much, I won't be posting any blackmail photos online. The kids really enjoyed getting to stay up late and watching Elmo on their daddy's iPhone before the parade began. I'm already looking forward to next year!
