My parents came up to help out since I've been on bed rest for the past two weeks and we had such a nice time. The kids were thrilled to have people to play with because, let's face it, I've been pretty boring stuck in bed and poor David has had to take over the brunt of the housework. Mom and Dad helped keep the kids entertained while getting the house in order to give both of us a break. They also brought a pound cake which I devoured within 24 hours. Talk about the perfect way to feel better! We appreciated having them visit so much!
